A sofa you want to touch

Fleece doesn't just change how a cushion looks, it changes how it feels when you sit down. The fabric is thick and soft, and it holds on to warmth instead of letting it escape — it's the fabric for the months you spend at home.

And it isn't a flat dyed fabric. The surface has a woven texture that catches the light in its hollows and ridges. That's what sets our two families apart.

Two textures, two characters

Basketweave is a tight weave: small bars crossing at right angles, like the strands of a wicker basket. Regular and discreet, it gives the surface structure without drawing the eye.

Cable is wider and livelier: diagonal rows that alternate direction, like a knitting stitch. The texture is more pronounced, the shadows deeper.

The price is the same. It's a question of taste, not of range.

It's the cushions you cover, not the sofa

Each cover goes on one cushion at a time, like a fitted sheet on a mattress. Lift the cushion, slip the cover on, adjust the elastic and put the cushion back. One minute per cushion, no tools.

Your sofa's frame stays as it is: only the surface changes.

Choosing the right size: measure before you order

It's the one step where a mistake means a return. Get out a tape measure and take two measurements of one cushion, lying flat, with its current cover removed: its width, from front to back, and its length, from side to side.

Nine sizes, sorted by width first:

Cushions up to 65 cm wide

• 50-65 × 50-70 cm, a square cushion
• 50-65 × 100-125 cm, a one-piece 2-seater cushion
• 50-65 × 150-185 cm, a one-piece 3-seater cushion

Cushions 70 to 90 cm wide

• 70-90 × 65-95 cm
• 70-90 × 95-135 cm
• 70-90 × 135-165 cm
• 70-90 × 165-200 cm

Back cushions

• 30-45 × 60-80 cm
• 50-65 × 70-95 cm

The price depends only on the size and is shown in the selector. The colour you choose never changes it.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger one: the fabric stretches, but it can't grow longer.

Two back cushion sizes, not just one: back cushions vary in size from sofa to sofa. Measure them the same way as the seats.

These sizes are exactly the same as our velvet range — it's the only one you can compare without measuring again. Our stretch and water-repellent covers come in different sizes.

How many you need

One cover fits one cushion. A 3-seater sofa whose seat is made of three separate cushions needs three covers, and three more if you want to cover the back cushions too.

Count your cushions before you order, not your seats: it isn't always the same number.

On orders of £85 or more, delivery is free, plus two free cushion covers: your basket lets you choose them.

Care

Machine washable at 30°C. Take the cover off, wash it, put it back on. The fabric gets its shape and texture back.

The eleven colours

Grey basketweave, Light grey basketweave, Light grey cable, Off-white cable, Beige basketweave, Coffee cable, Brown basketweave, Sky blue basketweave, Navy basketweave, Green basketweave, Green cable.

The last word of the name tells you the texture: seven in basketweave, four in cable.

Greys and neutrals come first in the selector. Light grey comes in both textures, and so does Green — the name tells you which one you're looking at.
