There’s no one-piece cover for a corner sofa: it would bunch up at the join. You fit one cover per section, as if it were two straight sofas.
How many covers
- Corner sofa (L-shaped): 2 covers, one per section.
- U-shaped sofa: 3 covers.
Important: your sofa needs a gap, even a slight one, between its sections. Without one, the covers can’t be fitted.
How to measure
- Measure each part on its own, following its shape, with the tape measure flat against the fabric: start at the outer edge of the arm, go over the top and stop at the gap; a middle part runs from one gap to the next.
- Chaise end: from the top of the back to the end of the seat, following the fabric.
- Each measurement gives its own size, from the same size chart. If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one: the fabric stretches, and you tuck the excess between the cushions.
- Check the depth of each part with a back, too: from the top of the back to the front edge of the seat, following the fabric, 140 cm at most.
Sizes (per section)
- 1-seater: 90-140 cm / 36-55 in
- 2-seater: 145-185 cm / 58-72 in
- 3-seater: 190-230 cm / 75-90 in
- 4-seater: 235-300 cm / 93-118 in
Fitting
- Start with the corner section, then the straight sections. Each cover goes on as it would on a straight sofa: cords under the sofa, foam tuck-in sticks between the cushions. Once they’re on, the join doesn’t show.
