The cushion to match your chenille sofa

The cushion cover, in 45 × 45 or 30 × 50 cm, in the same chenille as our EasyCover™ Chenille Sofa Cover, sold singly and under the same colour names: the cushion matches the sofa, or brings a touch of it to a plain sofa.

A flat, velvety woven chenille, soft to the touch, with a smooth surface. The cover goes on in a minute.

Check before you order

Two sizes: 45 × 45 cm, the standard square cushion, and 30 × 50 cm, the rectangular cushion. This is the cover only, with no filling — your current cushion goes inside. Measure it from edge to edge: between 40 and 45 cm a side for the square one, the cover sits nice and taut; for the rectangular one, about 30 by 50 cm.

The price is the same whatever the colour and whatever the size.

Care

Machine washable at 30°C. Air dry. Take the cover off, wash it, put it back on.

Sizing and fitting

Size 45 x 45 cm or 30 x 50 cm: measure your cushion flat, from seam to seam. This cover fits a square cushion 40 to 45 cm or rectangular cushion 30 × 50 cm.

Fitting

Slip the cushion into the cover, close it and put it back. About a minute, no tools needed.

Care

Chenille yarn is thick and velvety. It wears in the tumble dryer, flattens under an iron and loses its shape if it’s dried twisted. The right routine: 30°C, then dry flat.

Day to day

Shake or brush gently in the direction of the texture, so as not to flatten it.
A fresh stain can be blotted without rubbing.

Washing

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, with no fabric conditioner or bleach. Wash it on its own: chenille needs room.
Gentle spin, 800 rpm maximum. The first few washes may release a few fibres, then it settles down.

Drying

Dry flat, in the open air. That’s what keeps the yarn thick.

Avoid

Tumble dryer, iron, fabric conditioner, bleach, a fast spin.

The cushion covers are washed one at a time: the cycle is shorter, and the rest of the sofa stays covered.

How does it close?

With a zip: slip the cushion in, zip it up and pat it to spread the filling evenly.

Single or pack of 2?

This page sells the cover singly. For two matching cushions, order two in the same colour: the price is the same for each.
