The same colour across our other covers: sofa, armchair, dining chair, cushions.
This cover: will it fit your sofa cushion?
- Suitable for
- Seat cushions 50 to 110 cm wide (front to back) and 50 to 190 cm long (side to side), back cushions 30 to 50 cm wide and 60 to 85 cm long
Fitting in 3 steps
About a minute per cushion, no tools
Lift out the cushion
Take the seat or back cushion out of its place and unfold the cover: the elastic is at the four corners, just like a fitted sheet.
Start with two corners
Hook two opposite corners, then stretch the cover over the other two. The fabric pulls taut over the cushion.
Put it back
Smooth it out and put the cushion back. Allow one cover per cushion: a 2-seater sofa with two seat cushions and two back cushions needs four.
Step 1 of 3
Measure the width and length of each cushion before you order; if you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Description
Liquids don't soak in
It's the only material in our sofa cushion cover range we can say that about. On our jacquard covers, a drop beads on the surface and you have time to wipe it off. On faux leather, it stays on top: the surface is sealed, and a wipe with a damp sponge makes it disappear.
A drink knocked over at mealtime, a child eating on the sofa, a baby's bottle: these are the moments when this material stands apart from fabrics.
It's the cushions you cover, not the sofa
Each cover goes on one cushion at a time, like a fitted sheet on a mattress. Lift the cushion, slip the cover on, adjust the elastic and put the cushion back. One minute per cushion, no tools.
Your sofa's frame stays as it is: only the surface changes. You can cover just the seats, or only one if that's the one taking the wear.
Choosing the right size: measure before you order
It's the one step where a mistake means a return. Get out a tape measure and take two measurements of one cushion, lying flat, with its current cover removed: its width from front to back (the first figure in our sizes), then its length from side to side (the second figure).
Nine sizes, sorted by front-to-back width first:
Cushions up to 65 cm from front to back
- 50-65 × 50-65 cm, a square cushion
- 50-65 × 100-125 cm, a one-piece 2-seater cushion
- 50-65 × 150-190 cm, a one-piece 3-seater cushion
Cushions 65 to 80 cm from front to back
- 65-80 × 65-80 cm
- 65-80 × 85-110 cm
- 65-80 × 120-150 cm
- 65-80 × 155-175 cm
Cushions 95 to 110 cm from front to back
- 95-110 × 160-190 cm
Back cushions
- 30-50 × 60-85 cm
The price depends only on the size and is shown in the selector. The colour you choose never changes it.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger one: the material stretches, but only so far.
Check the sizes carefully: the faux leather ones don't match any of our other cushion covers. This is the only range that goes up to 110 cm from front to back. Measure, don't copy.
How many you need
One cover fits one cushion. A 3-seater sofa whose seat is made of three separate cushions needs three covers, and three more if you want to cover the back cushions too.
Count your cushions before you order, not your seats: it isn't always the same number.
On orders of £85 or more, delivery is free, plus two free cushion covers: your basket lets you choose them.
Care
A damp sponge and you're done. As nothing soaks into the material, there's usually no stain to lift out: wipe it and let it dry. This cover isn't machine washable, and doesn't need to be.
The six colours
Pebble grey, Onyx black, Ivory, Mahogany, Golden yellow, Garnet.
Greys and neutrals come first in the selector. The names in this range are its own — faux leather doesn't render a colour the way a woven fabric does, so we chose distinct names rather than suggest a match that doesn't exist.
Sizing and fitting
This isn’t a sofa cover: each seat or back cushion gets its own, slipped on like a fitted sheet. Allow one cover per cushion — a 2-seater sofa with two seat cushions and two back cushions needs four, a 3-seater needs six.
How to measure
- Lay the cushion flat, with its current cover removed if needed.
- Measure the cushion from front to back (the width on our size chart), then from side to side (the length).
- Choose the size that covers both; if your measurements fall right between two sizes, choose the larger one. The measurements of each size are shown in the size selector.
Fitting
- Lift the cushion, hook the cover over two opposite corners, stretch it over the other two, smooth it out and put the cushion back. About a minute per cushion, no tools.
Care
The surface is sealed: nothing soaks through, and hair and liquids sit on top. Keep it out of the washing machine — it could make the coating peel. A cloth does the same job, with no risk.
Day to day
- A well wrung-out sponge or a damp cloth, with lukewarm water and a little mild soap if needed, including for greasy marks, in light circular movements.
- Wipe dry with a cloth to avoid watermarks; faux leather is cleaned in place, without taking it off.
- Pet hair slides off: a sweep of the hand or a cloth removes it.
Washing
- No washing machine, no soaking, no harsh detergent.
Drying
- Air dry, away from radiators and hairdryers, and out of direct sunlight, which dries out the coating.
Avoid
- Washing machine, tumble dryer, bleach, alcohol, acetone, abrasive sponges, direct heat.
